IFF at CAGNY

How can we offer attendees at the Consumer Analysts Group of New York’s flagship event a fun, engaging experience that also educates them about IFF’s capabilities?”
Sounds easy enough…. 300-600 attendees? 14 distinct Business Unit capabilities? A 4 hour load-in window on the day of? Oh, and it needs to be beautifully designed and very, very impressive? Got it!
First step; a site survey to stress-test ideas on how to extend our setup time if possible, and identify efficiencies that might allow us to go as big as possible given the tight time restrictions, while still ensuring a successful execution.
We then landed on a theme that would both resonate with the audience, and connect to IFF’s mission statement; “Making Joy Through Science, Creativity & Heart.” From there, we crafted unique scent and taste experiences to delight and engage our attendees' senses, demonstrating IFF’s groundbreaking, sustainable innovations that elevate everyday products.
We created an elegant look and feel for our event, with a mix of visual, tactile, digital and interactive installations, all bathed in colorful LED lighting. The focal point was a 6-screen immersive digital experience, with custom content mapping to both individual screens as well as full multi-screen takeovers. Adding a DJ, an amazing menu along with some signature IFF cocktails and the evening was breathtaking!
Feedback confirmed our event was indeed the highlight of the week, with attendees relaying that IFF showed up with “the perfect mix of education, engagement, and entertainment.”
